Condolences to the families

As I sit here and write this post, my eyes are filling up with tears. I could never imagine the pain and grief that Kobe’s wife, children, sisters, parents and family members are experiencing, as well as the families of the other 7 on the helicopter, who lost their lives on January 26, 2020. As a mother, words cannot express our love for our children and we hope and pray every day that we never have to deal with their loss. As a wife, when we meet someone who is our soulmate, and we plan to spend eternity together, we never plan to lose them too soon. I know that this has devastated the families, but I also know that God never makes mistakes and there is purpose behind all of this. My lesson is to cherish every single moment with everyone that I love and fix broken relationships before it’s too late. My heart will forever hold empathy for Vanessa and all of those affected by this tragedy. May God strengthen them and give them a peace that surpasses all of our understanding. I pray that God will guard their hearts and inject so much love, support and comfort into their lives that Kobe and Gigi’s lives will empower people of all walks of life to love hard, laugh loud and live unapologetically.
